When an aimless twenty-something stumbles upon a young girl who she believes to be the daughter she gave up for adoption as a teen, she becomes the girl’s babysitter, gaining the adoptive mother’s trust and concealing her true identity.

In 2002, a group of thirteen year old camp friends reunites at Camp Whippoorwill for their first summer as “upper campers” and all vie for a spot on the Paddle Team, a highly coveted, impossibly cool, and life-or-death exclusive synchronized canoeing performance group that they are finally old enough to qualify for.
